Tata Motors introduced the Tiago, an electric vehicle, in India earlier this year. The manufacturer said at the launch that the Tigor EV, which lacked some amenities, was also getting an update. The new Tigor EV has now been teased by the company.

According to reports, the redesigned Tigor EV will go on sale soon. The electric car has been redesigned by Tata Motors with new features and fresh colours. Tigor is currently available in only two colours: Daytona Grey and Signature Teal Blue. The latest colour choice for the compact sedan is Magnetic Red, which is also offered on the standard Tigor. Additionally, blue accents would be added to this new colour scheme to distinguish the ICE-Tigor from the Tigor EV.

In terms of features, the Tigor EV will now include cruise control, which even the Nexon EV Prime does not have. Leather upholstery will also be available, adding a sense of luxury to the interiors. Automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers are also available in the car. The Tigao EV also has numerous regeneration modes, which will be carried over to the Tigor EV.

The present Tigor electric motor has a maximum power output of 74.7 Ps and a torque output of 170 Nm. Drive and Sports are the two driving modes available. The battery pack has a capacity of 26 kWh, is liquid-cooled, and is IP67-rated. The Tigor EV can reach 100 kilometres per hour in 5.7 seconds. The Tigor EV has a 306 km ARAI-certified driving range. However, in practise, the Tigor EV has a driving range of 180 to 200 kilometres.

Previously, the new Tigori CNG model was introduced by Tata Motors. It costs 7,39,900 rupees and is known as the Tata Tigor XM iCNG variant. It is the Tata TigoriCNG’s third variant. It is now available in the XZ and XZ+ versions. Because it costs 50,000 less than the XZ trim, the new XM model is also the most economical in the series.
